Silence

In 14th-century Castile, the wife of a medieval peasant dies of the plague. The peasant himself falls ill shortly afterwards. In a state of extreme weakness, he ventures into the forest to find some rest at last. In a moment of delirium, he sees what appears to be the spirit of his dead wife, who vanishes in the blink of an eye. The peasant begins to search for her desperately, unaware of the horrors he is about to encounter.
